Been wondering how the 3rd OVA episode would
look, and I can see a VAST amount of

This small piece of animation is mind-blowing,
Fred. You always have had a great eye for action
and motion in your comics, but this one piece
shows how much you would rock as a mainstream

Ah-ah-ah! MANGA! Call it "manga,"
not "comics." I think of comics as what I grew
up with here in America, only later to discover
Manga from Japan, which includes Fred's work,
and which is far and above anything that an
American could call "comics."

The animation really plays and everything is
action-packed! Could another layer of crack
sounds be layed on the foley? I almost wanted to
hear a meaty boxing glove noise when Brit was
taking shots, and a rock cracking sound when Brit

Yup! The motion, expressions, sounds... AMAZING!
This is at a conservative estimate about a
bajillion times better than 99% of what runs on
Cartoon Network.
Now we just have to clone Fred so he can work fast
enough to do his own network.

I really like that Fred! The animation was nice
and smooth, and Brit's expressions, particularly
her eyes, did a great job of expressing intensity.

As mentioned, Brit smashing the rock creature
was pretty cool, although I'd love to hear the
sound of rocks smashing/breaking to add to the
effect of it happening :D
I think Fred can do this, given he has time to
add some more sounds (as mentioned, Brit getting
hit, and rock sounds as well), and I think this

That was the most bad-ass 20-30 second preview to
a fight scene I have ever seen. This is why I keep
buying your goods, Perry-Sensei. And is that the
same voice actress from the second dvd? Because if
it is, then that would be nice. A tiny sprinkle of
continuity goes a long way.

I still think you should make a real cartoon. Call
up Cartoon Network, say "Yo, bitches! Check this
action out!", then slam your DVD's down like Moses
layin' down tablets. Our cartoon efforts in the
U.S. would improve for the next 10 years. Hell, it
would improve the efforts of anime in the next 5.
You could do for adventure cartoons what John
Krisfalusi did for comedy toons....
Oh...and if you're interested...I do cartoon
voices. I need to get my foot in the door. Disney
won't let me work for them because I don't have
two years of experience working for them already.
